Very good video, but I wish it added the relegation of Judas, being that it was caused by 88' and 90' minute goals.

That was awesome. The Premiere League Review Show on Fox Soccer did an awesome job of this as well. Showed the highlights in real time between the Man U and City games. Cut back and forth. I watched it like 3 times.

that reminds me of interacting IRL with people in the hours after the matches were over. I was still a little shell shocked and asthmatic. everyone else was talking about brunch and the avengers and shit, and I was all like, frick this country. But then we went to this badass brunch place and I got a 5 cheese grilled cheese with bacon and avocado and I was all like I love this country

This is almost exactly how it worked out with me. wife and I were visiting friends in St Louis. I was using their wi-fi to illegally stream all the matches I wanted to see. Here I am thoroughly losing my shite during the closing seconds of City's comeback, while our friends are pressuring me to close the laptop so we could go eat. I tried to explain the significance of what just happened, with "wow, that sounds pretty cool" being the reactions. We did have good food though. Probably not as good as a 5 cheese grilled cheese w/bacon & avocado.

By a cruel twist of fate I left for a Chilis pickup run at 90 mins. Wife kids and I had been watching entire 2nd half together even though they aren't soccer fans. As soon as I pulled out of driveway wife called "THEY SCORED" and then called back for 2nd goal. Then I had to watch it recorded. Was still pretty awesome though. Have to think soccer gained some fans that day. It did in my house at least.

re: Reconstructing The Most Exciting Day In The History Of Soccer-DEADSPIN

Great video. Just like the final day last year, it was as exciting to me as the first weekend of March Madness used to be for me.

Last year, because there were six teams fighting to stay up on the last day, and every goal it seemed, gave us a different bottom three.

This year, well...

OK, question, who was that announcer calling the Arsenal/West Bromwich Albion match? I put him up there with Ian Darke.
