Jethro Tull is doing a Thick as A Brick tour this fall, I plan to catch it in Atlanta in September

Is it Jethro Tull or just Ian Anderson and a collection?

Jeff Mangum rarely plays any shows, would love to catch him playing that whole album

Jeff Mangum - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea - Live Brooklyn Academy of Music 1-21-12

ETA - pretty damned good quality and on the right of that video are links to additional songs from the same concert.

In the Aeroplane Over the Sea seems like a good choice to me.

Good question. I did some digging - it's Ian Anderson and a collection (that excludes Martin Barre). And he has a Thick as a Brick 2 out which is getting some rather mixed reviews and is not at all similar to the original. Too bad, I'd love to see something close to the original band do Thick as a Brick but will probably pass on this.

Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime would be one I'd probably be interested in attending.

They used to perform that in its entirety on one tour, can't remember the year. Complete, with interactive movie screens.

Wish I would have seen it too.

I did see them perform it, and I enjoyed it immensely. It is available on DVD.

I also saw Pink Floyd perform The Wall in L.A. But I'm a bit hazy on the details.

I'd like to see U2 Joshua Tree cover to cover. That would be cool and take me back to high school.
