Drew can't go anywhere, it's not an option, Miami can't tamper, no reason to even offer contracts to Drew behind the scenes because Drew is not able to go anywhere for 2-3 years minimum and that's under the assumption he plays through the franchise tags.
You might as well start another thread saying Drew found another football league on the planet Terposipoluso and the team Galatoirs is in need of a qb and is offering Drew the universe and Drew's really considering it because they just had a solar storm and the planet is in need of a savoir there too.

I do not think the holdup is the actual money but the structure. There has been speculation that Condon is trying to get certain incentives/escalators in the contract that would assist him in future negotiations with other teams (i.e. to set a precedent for these certain items) and that Loomis has not been willing to do so.

A buddy of mine is friends with Saints coach.
They talked about how Miami said he could have what he wants. They also talked about how each and everyone of them are on notice.
So, they are telling the coaches Drew may not be here. Miami came up because of what was said regarding the "whatever you want" part.
I guess that is code for something.
