You actually can rent digital by the week if it is available. The fall happens to be the busiest time of the year for outdoor...

I would be careful with this one. The premium billboards in Baton Rouge on I-10 are in the $4500 per four week cycle. That means 13 cycles. Dallas they run $10,000 - $15,000 in prime locations.
This guy picked up a prime location for $12,000 for the year putting up a rival team as the advertiser.
How would the public perception of Lamar be If the Crimson Tide started advertising on I-10 and College.
You think they would discount Alabama by 75% so they can get thrown under the bus by their competitors at the news stations and the Advocate?
Pass.

I don't think it would hurt them that much. Lamar makes most of their money from state sponsored information signs on the interstate . They have contracts with several states.

I think that is a horrible idea. Why wake up the atl fans. Thats just stupid. I'm guessing your talking somewhere in the $130,000 range for a year contract close to the Georgia Dome, maybe even more than that. I'm out.
THIS!

It's not a matter of waking up anybody. It's just creating an unnecessary shite storm. Imagine a Falcons billboard outside the SuperDome? It would be vandalized and stuff. Leave the provocation acts to the scumbags - don't be one.

All your asking for
Is a falcon board near the dome. Save your money.

The city of Atlanta and state of Georgia appreciate your hard earned income being given to a company in GA.

Lake View, your statement could not be further from the truth. You are just wrong, so wrong. The Lamar Baton Rouge office bills more than Lamar Logo's bills for the entire country.
Lamar Logo's cost $1200 for the year and they have very few compared to the amount of billboards.
If you look at the P&L's, the company Lamar owns that makes just the vinyls (Lamar Graphics) for Lamar grosses more than Lamar Logo's.

I'm down to do it, but they can do the same shite and I'd go to jail for burning it down.....

For a fanbase that likes to flaunt it's SB trophy, this screams of little brother "look at me, look at me". But as others have said, go on and send that $30k check to Atlanta.

does no one know of the billboard feud between LSU and USC?
funny how different people felt about that (as in supported the billboards), while on here, people hate the idea.
