This I have no problem with that.

I wonder how many of these parents have been charged with something related to child abuse.

on vacation a couple weeks back, I noticed a tiny (maybe 2 inches long) dead baby bird on the sidewalk where it had fallen 3 stories from the nest. Few days later, it's slightly more developed but still too young to fly sibling joined it. For at least 2 days, the momma bird squawked from the rooftop about those poor babies. It got to where I'd try to avoid that sidewalk to not have to step over them. and csb.

Reminds of a video I saw posted a while back where a little kid shot an adult in the leg.

also, some of these parents are SICK. And when I feel really awful about not spending more time reading to/playing with/teaching my 13 m/o son, I can at least take comfort in the fact that I've not done the stuff in this thread.

There is nothing wrong with this. It is a K5 Blazer with the top off. No different that having a kid in the back seat of a Jeep or a BMW convertible with the top down. Actually safer than the BMW because at least the roof of the Blazer is reinforced in case of a rollover. In the BMW the only thing protecting passengers in a rollover is the windshield frame. You can see that the kid is in a child restraint attached to the backseat of the Blazer. ETA: Godammit Wafer

Well, I have hit a great parenting milestone....and I am not kidding but this is my daughter and wife featured on a parenting fail blog that someone posted a few pages back. Taken at the Insectarium in New Orleans. But she knew what she was eating and wanted to show all the other kids what sissies they are by being to scared.

:notsureifserious: but I don't have a problem with that. My oldest son asked me what a love bug tasted like one time and I said I don't know but there's only one way to find out. Apparently they taste like shite.

absolutely serious. They have a kitchen in the insectarium where they cook bugs. I think that one was sauteed in honey or something. We told her you can eat bugs there and she said she wanted to do it, so we let her. There was an AP photographer there who saw us and started snapping pictures and it ended up being printed in about 20 newspapers accross the country during thanksgiving in connection with a story they were doing on the Insectarium.
