Is he worth pursuing for CB depth? A veteran at 4 million a year.

Bills Defensive backs were pretty damn good last year.

Unfortunatly:

Lots of readers in our NFC South chat were asking about the possibility of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being interested in cornerback Drayton Florence, who was released by the Buffalo Bills on Friday.

Drayton Florence to the Bucs?

Yeah, but I think he can probably start for a few teams and would likely go to those teams rather than be a back up for us. Just IMO though.

Well, why can't we have him as a starter opposite Greer and have Robinson as the Nickel.

He'd be a nice addition, don't know how we could afford him though at least until we get Brees signed.

I don't know if he's better than Robinson.

And I agree, the first thing we need to do is sign Brees, then we can worry about more FAs.

WTF is the Bills' problem as an organization? They are always cheaping out. They did it with Greer and a ton of other players too.

No reason to let players like Greer and Florence walk with no compensation. Absolutely idiotic. Don't see how anybody can be a fan of that franchise.

It's not like Greer had a horrendous contract nor does Florence. You'd have to think they could have at least gotten a 5th rounder for each (maybe more) prior to both drafts.

Rumor is his release from the Bills had nothing to do with money or his performance, rather that he was a terrible teammate and locker room cancer. So that ebing said no I would nto want him in NOLA.

Maybe so, but if I'm a Rams fan I'd have much rather risked a 5th rounder on Drayton Florence and used my first round pick on somebody other than J. Jenkins.

Picking Jenknis was almost as terrible an idea as this...

Especially after what Jeff Fisher went through with Pacman just 6 years ago...
