It's not technically infinite. I watched a video where there is a ceiling because the guy couldn't build any higher in a tree house in a jungle biome. Also, like the video said, it almost infinite. So not technically
Yes computer will have the better version. You can sleep better tonight knowing that.

This is correct. I believe if you started walking continuously from the spawn point, it would take around 850 real world hours to reach the end of the Minecraft world. And that's just one direction.
This would be 35 straight days of doing nothing but pressing the "W" key on your computer. Meaning, to go from one end of a Minecraft world to the other, it would take a minimum of 70 real world days of doing nothing but walking in a straight line in the game.
The vertical limit was recently increased to a height of 256, which allows construction above the height of clouds.

You're good at math. I applaud you. See my last post so you can sleep well tonight. It is very likely better on PC. I am not arguing that. But that will not deter me from getting it.

I would be excited for you, but the subtextual, sarcastic derision contained in your two most recent posts swayed me the other way.

Glad you caught that.

Is there a reason that a few discrepancies between the two versions is generating so much frustration in you?
Posted on 5/7/12 at 8:48 pm to Cs
No frustration here at all. In the OP I asked a question regarding this game actually having an ending now. It was answered then you came in stating how there was no way possible it would be a great as on PC in regards to precision and building. Turns out there may be a second "fault" with world size but it is what it is. I promise you I am A-ok.

Hyperbole aside, the discussion had deviated from the original question by the time I made my first post. Specifically, you guys were talking about how servers would work.
And although there were some differing opinions, the thread was relatively neutral until you decided to lay down the mockery, which is typically indicative of frustration or anger. But if you're "A-ok", then the impetus of your derision becomes more curious.

does it bother you that I wreck people on PC using an xbox controller?

Yeah, somewhat. You're obviously playing against some bad players.
But, it really depends on the game. Battlefield 3, where there are over 60 people, not so much.
Counter-Strike is a different story.

What game are you playing?

I got what I wanted out of you, carry on

Like I said earlier this Cs guys agenda was pretty clear early on.

Well, like I said, it depends. I don't think anyone would deny the precision advantage a mouse offers over an analog stick while assuming a first person perspective. Knowledge and overall skill obviously play a role, by KB/M does provide obvious, distinct advantages.
In a game like BF3, however, those control advantages may dissipate when commanding a tank or jet.

Yes. I believe KB/M provides a significant advantage in games where the player assumes a first person perspective.
This is hardly a unique position, and tenuously qualifies as an "agenda".
