I prefer Lillard because of his quickness, improved shooting ability and ability to attack the paint. Marshall scares me because of the talent he played around in college. I'm afraid he may end up like Marcus Williams.

What is the rest of the boards opinion ?

Lillard. If his scoring ability translates over to the NBA then he will be awesome to pair with Gordon and our top pick.

I was debating in starting a thread asking what do you think it would cost the Hornets to move up to number 6 to guarantee Lillard ?

Ariza/Jack + the tenth pick ?

Would this be worth it to Hornets fans ? Me personally, I would do it.

Yea but only if we can find a solid replacement for Ariza in FA or with our first pick. Having Aminu start would not be good.

I'd take Lillard.
Marshall has great vision and passing ability but his limited athleticism hurts his potential.I haven't watched Lillard much but his numbers are impressive, with his scoring ability and quickness he could be a pretty good player.

More than likely, Portland would prefer JJ over Ariza. Allowing them to try and re-sign Batum and Crawford.

Not a fan of Marshall. I'll take Lillard all day over him but what about maybe Jeremy Lamb in that spot?

I like Rivers more than both. He is a bit of a combo guard, but I think he can handle the point (ala Curry). He just has that swagger and attitude. He's going to be a star. A Rivers and Gordon backcourt could be pretty damn good.

trade down to 14-18 and pick up Tony Wroten and pick up a 2nd rounder to select Jae Crowder or Kris Joseph...would anyone be opposed to this ?

yes. This shouldnt even be a disucssion. We need to get the best players we can. Not 2 potential bench players. We have enough of those.

I'm guessing now one watched a Weber St game this yea. Instead, let's google his stats and pretend like we know he's a good player
