Homegrown Louisiana kid who grew up in Opelousas, LA, played for LSU (Caught the bluegrass miracle pass and won a National Championship) and has played for the Saints for 8 years after being drafted by the black and gold in the second round in 2004.
As a football loving Louisiana native, does it get any better? How many people have ever gotten the opportunity to play for their home state's flagship college, be the centerpiece of one of it's most memorable plays, win a National Championship, then get selected to their home state's pro football team and win a superbowl with them. Unreal. You da man Devery!

Terrance Copper was here during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. Always liked his hustle on special teams and was pretty much a sure thing to catch anything thrown his way.

Going multimedia today! Two great videos to go along with #17.
Who Doesn't Love This Play
Who Wasn't Excited About This
Meachem had 141 receptions for 2,269 yards and 23 touchdowns. (25 total touchdowns) Everyone would have liked more from a first rounder, but he wasn't a bust.
Talking about QBs though, I remember Jim Everett always throwing on our defense and thinking that we finally had a real starting QB when we signed him in 1994. He went on to start 47 games and went 17-30 as a starter. He threw 958 completions for 10622 yards and 60 touchdowns.
ETA: Damn, just beat me blues. Althought we both ended up talking about the same two things in regards to Meachem and Everett.
