Russell Gary - Drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2nd round (29th overall) of the 1981 NFL Draft and played with the Saints until 1986. Had 3 sacks and 7 picks at Safety for the Saints.
Jay Bellamy - picked up from Seattle in 2001 and played here for 7 years. Started 70 games and had 4.5 sacks, 9 interceptions and 309 tackles for the Saints.
Randall "Blue" Gay - FA pick up from the Patriots. Started 20 games and had 2 sacks, 1 interception and 82 tackles for the black & gold.

I always liked Bellamy. Not a great player, but a solid NFL starter. (especially considering how bad the rest of the defense was back then anyway.)
