some may like Brian Young 04-08 but he was a too often injured disappointment to me. Conrad Dobler was prolly the most famous Saint with 66 but only played 2 years here. Look him up he was one of the nastiest ever.
I'm going golden age and looking forward with a 2 1/2 month Saint. Won't be surprised to see him in the Pro Bowl or All Pro with the rep the O-Line has had and the offensive production.
Ben Grubbs
New left guard Ben Grubbs is acclimating himself well with his teammates.
Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael said Grubbs (6-3, 310) is picking up the offense well.
"It's a little bit tough to evaluate," Carmichael said. "But he's a guy that's been in the league. He's a veteran, so he knows the game of football. The terminology is a little bit different. But as far as his mental (aspect), picking up the plays and assignments, it's been really positive."
Grubbs a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2007, was brought in to replace All-Pro guard Carl Nicks (6-3, 343), who signed a free-agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"Ben is a Pro Bowler, as well," right guard Jahri Evans said. "He is picking up the offense very quickly. I think the obvious (difference) is the size, as big as Carl is. Ben is doing extremely well. He's picking up the offense. He's comparing it to his last offensive scheme he has been in. And he's doing a good job."
