my dad does that shite. ive never tried it, but it seems like the soda would lose all of the carbonation and become flat because of the salt

my mom used to do it all the time. i havnt seen her do it in awhile though.

ive tried it but never liked it, always killed the fizz in the coke

ETA: Kids used to do this all the time at my elementary school. Although I don't think 20 oz cokes were available then.

Works great of you can find and old, ice cold bottle of Falstaff, Pearl of Schlitz. Makes that crap taste a whole lot better.

Good luck finding a bottle or two of Falstaff, Pearl or Schlitz. Only place I know to det Falstaff is Robies Grocery in Abbeville.
