People will eventually start hating on this guy just like Tim Tebow.
Mainly because he is a winner and does things the right way.
Its mind boggling.

's just odd that you're calling people racist, while it is very clear that you're caught up in Luck being white just as much and obviously more than everyone else is worried about RG3 being black.

Serious question, you're saying every analyst who had Luck over RG3, the Colts, and every other team that had Luck #1 on their board did so just because he is white? You serious?

I'm saying most of the Analysts have Luck over RG3 because he is white and because he plays in California.

I dont think TV markets are being understood here. If ESPN Los Angeles is actively marketting you, you are a market team in my opinion.

But By all means, Clearly Luck was on a terrible team and RG3 got lucky being a quarterback at Baylor.

ETA

There is no way I'm the only person aware that EVERYONE thinks Luck is the next Peyton Manning and RG3 is the next Michael Vick.

I wonder why that is.

I don't want to break any board rules here.

So I'm just going to definitely say that my opinion is that RG3 is a better quarterback than Luck, but his athleticism and the team hold him back.

I mean for God's sake, I have heard "Andrew Luck's dad is a coach" as a reason for why he can't possibly bust in the NFL. That is sensationalist crap at its best.

Is it suppose to be racist to compare white people to white people and black people to black people?

A. I will no longer discuss racism as it is almost definitely against the board rules.

B. Wonderlic has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence.

RG3 was a prolific passing quarterback in college than ran sometimes, but of course because of how he looks, he is just the next Michael Vick and will have to learn to protect himself in the NFL.

If RG3 and Luck both stayed in the pocket, I still trust RG3 to make the play more than I trust Luck.

discussing racism isn't against board rules. i talk about racism across various boards like 5-8 times per week

people really aren't doing this. he's been shown more deference and respect for his passing than any other QB i can remember with mobility. analysts have gone out of their way to say he's a passer...who can run.

also, when comparing the stats alone of RG3 and Luck, remember Luck ran a pro-style attack while RG3 was running a wide-open spread passing attack. complexity of offense and ability to accumulate stats are vastly different

i still really like RG3 though

Because Luck is a pure pocket passer like Manning and RG3 is a runner/passer like Vick.

Oh, and that huge LA market? Stanford is nowhere near it.

Surely you aren't really this dense.

I know, right? I can't believe RGIII hasn't even been drafted yet! NFL is is a bunch of wassist crackas who don't value the black QB.

You are sofa king stupid. TONS of analysts have been drooling over RGIII as a better and incredibly accurate downfield passer.

You are butthurt because one team ultimately valued Luck over RGIII, and your butthurtness makes you assume it's because he's white.

You fricking suck.

i won't claim the wonderlic is the end all, be all of intelligence scoring, but to say it has NOTHING to do with intelligence has to be born and bred in a case of the mad

1. Apparently none of you would draft Troy Polamalu, because having shaggy hair like that means he isnt as good of a person as Andrew Luck is.

2. Wonderlic = Coordination. Both Quarterbacks are in extreme majors at good colleges. They are both very intelligent.

3. Luck ran an extremely condensed pro style offense with decent players around him. RG3 ran a spread with one receiver and 9 scrubs. Also it is worth mentioning that Cam Newton ran a spread (best Rookie in the history of the NFL).

4. Regarding Luck, I find the way he behaves asinine and fake. He tries WAY too hard to convince everyone he is a good ole boy. Everyone time I have seen or heard RG3 speak, he is extremely honest and well spoken, he is a jokester, and and an entertaining person in general. He seems unaware that he is a complete dork, and hes the kind of person that would energize the locker room.

Every time I hear Luck's wind up "Can't miss quarterback with intangibles and a coach for a father, hardest worker ever" all i can think is that I am being pitched at.

I'll take RG3 and his arm strength, accuracy, and physical superiority over Luck and his "Motor that never quits" any day.

i don't care if a guy has braids or not, but troy p didn't have braids. i do think the whole polynesian hair thing is silly, though

one QB went #1
the other QB had a team mortgage the future to move up and pick him #2

nobody is saying there is this huge gap between the 2

Andrew Luck's intelligence is stated by having a 3.5 in civil engineering from one of the most prestigious universities in the country. Also, did you see what Luck was throwing to the last few years compared to what Griffin was throwing to.

As stated before, the offenses both quarterbacks played in lends itself to many of the projections.

As for the racist allegation, look at Kiper's top 11 quarterbacks he has ever rated of:
John Elway
Andrew Luck
jim Kelly
Drew Bledsoe
Peyton Manning
Ryan Leaf
Vinny Testaverde
Andre Ware
Troy Aikman
Boomer Esiaison
Steve Young

Now how many of these quarterbacks had successful careers and which one didn't. When 8 of 10 were good to Hall of Fame level, where do you put Luck on that scale.

bro this has nothing to do with racism, the op might be i dont know, but he is definitely stupid.
to say a hair cut will make Blackmon do well.
he might have thrown that in to disguise his racism, but its still a pretty stupid statement on its face.

Coordination as in the ability to follow directions.

If the Wonderlic judges your intelligence im not sure how Mo Claiborne could figure out how to sign his contract.

The Spread Option is even less relevant to a Pro Offense than the Spread Pass offense is.

My point isnt that they are a gap apart.

My issue is that Andrew Luck is this "good ole boy" figure with his daddy playing catch with him in the back yard, whom doesnt use an iphone and is just the greatest guy you ever met.

I dont believe it. I just dont. I wouldnt be surprised if everything in that article was just pure BS.

I want to see some more articles about how RG3 wears superman socks and had a giant statue of him made of chicken.
