Seriously. With Chavis getting his bump I think next in line has to be Brick. Hated to see Cooper go. His evaluating was great and he coached those guys up but he didn't recruit on Brick's level. And Brick is pretty damn solid at developing talent as well. Brock had two sacks in his career and still went 14 overall. That's a helluva a lotta respect for a player's abilities and coaching has a lot to do with that. I hope we can keep Brick on our staff for a very long time.

Not a knock on Brick at all cause I think he's a fantastic asset to this staff. But Brockers was picked more because of his physical gifts rather than his on field performance which doesn't have much to do with coaching.

Yeah mike, I don't think you're paying much attention to technique, hand placement and leverage when you make that kind of statement, but I can assure you, the nfl scouts are. Brock is a converted DE who ran a poor 40 time at the combine. Productive against the run because he shed blocks not just because he was just a physical freak. Most improved player from 2010 to 2011 IMO. He's gifted no doubt, but so is every other guy drafted in the first 40 or so picks. Give credit where credit is due.

Brick is doing a good job. Mingo has improved each year also. As far as how much he should get paid kinda have to look at DL coaches salary in large BCS schools and pay accordingly.

I disagree here.

Brockers had a monster year. Our secondary just stole the show.

Really?

I mean.. Really?

Does every LSU player have to be Glenn Dorsey or Charles Woodson?
