Talks about how the Saints didn't ask for the player suspension to be known prior to the draft.
Will follow up the Wiretapping only after other authorities find something credible.
Heard the Williams tape but that had no impact on his suspension.

Tha frick? Why would the saints ask him for anything after all that bs. I mean seriously, it's pretty obvious the Saints would want to know the suspensions beforehand.

exactly.
plus, why would you want to draft a player you are going to have for 3 or so years based on players missing a few games to half a season? the biggest suspension will be Vilma, and the FO has already addressed LBs in the offseason. probably better to not know, so that you don't draft based off those suspensions, IMO.

The Saints have always been a team to Draft the best player on their board that is available at the time. They never draft according to when people think their team needs are. I am not worried I trust in Loomis and Sean that they knew who they wanted in this draft a month ago.

We were all pretty shocked about the suspensions for the coaching staff. What's to say the punishment for the players isn't ridiculous? A season, a couple seasons, indefinitely......
Unlikely that would happen, but I also didn't think Payton would be banned for a year either.
