It's probably a little of both. Odoh wanted to play for Jones and he left and Coleman wanted to play for Benford. I doubt we'll ever know though.

That's what I disagree with. Kids want to play for a coach. The same thing happened when Cal went to Kentucky. It happens all the time. They want to play a style, not for a jersey of particular school. The coach is the one who built a relationship, not the athletic director, not the not the fans, not the equipment manager.

Does this mean that Jones can't recruit kids in Dallas he was recruiting before he came to LSU?
