I don't totally disagree, but I do see the logic in preventing the ex-coach from raiding the very program for whom he was paid to recruit those very kids.

Like I said, if there was ever a reason to restrict a transfer of an incoming player, this would be it. I think a lot of people are just unable to consider that point given that LSU is the party being restricted.

Why? The kid wants to follow the coach that recruited him. What's the harm in that? Especially since they can't take him anyway. It seems really really petty on UNT's part.

And yes, I get that he recruited him while at UNT. I'm sure Jones made a lot of contacts and gained experience while at UNT. Does he have to leave all those things as well?

I get why they wouldn't want to play against him in conference, but it's just petty not to let the kid go where he wants to go.

Odoh can't go there even if he wanted to. They don't have a scholarship. And UNT did the same thing with their new coach.
