I don't think there should be restrictions for recruits. for transfers, yes. Especially within conference as they can have a lot of insight into game plans etc...

I don't totally disagree, but I do see the logic in preventing the ex-coach from raiding the very program for whom he was paid to recruit those very kids.
Like I said, if there was ever a reason to restrict a transfer of an incoming player, this would be it. I think a lot of people are just unable to consider that point given that LSU is the party being restricted.
