A close look at our record vs Alabama

The records below do not include the mulligan game. It was surprising that you have to go back 40 years before the Crimson Vomit have a winning record against us.

Last 5 years: LSU leads 3-2
Last 10 years: LSU leads 7-3
Last 15 years: LSU leads 10-5
Last 20 years: LSU leads 11-9
Last 30 years: LSU leads 15-14-1
Last 40 years: Gumps lead 24-15-1
Last 50 years: Gumps lead 30-19-1

This is pointless without the Mulligan.

As a fan, you better prep yourself for it to happen again. Bama winning their Mulligan is justifaction for ESPN to push for it again now that they run CFB.

Beginning each season, you need to ask yourself, "Is this year's LSU team good enough to beat Bama twice?" If that answer is "no", prepare yourself for disappointment.

PS - That answer will be "no" more often than not.
