Sweeping would be nice, but I don't think you can ever go into an SEC series, home or away, expecting a sweep.
Right now we're on pace for 20-10. If we can manage to sweep either UGA or Vandy it will allow us to drop a series @ USCe or Ole miss & still be on track tho. Sweep both & we're in great shape.

And Clemson in your regional. Their record doesn't reflect their talent on roster. Could be dangerous.

I don't just give the series up because we play on the road either. If we lose the series to ole piss i will be pissed! I can accept kentucky and usce the 2 time defending champs but not ole miss. See i can be reasonable but im a die hard LSU fan that understands that we have a good team this year and expects us to be in omaha.

Don't know much about them. Definitely seen a few projections I like a little more. Again we get SLU. What are all these writers expecting SLU to beat out Sam Houston in the southland tourney? No way is the s.land a 2 bid conference.

SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!!! I just don't see them giving 3 national seeds to the SEC. It's gone be tough but we need to go 9-3 in our last 4 sec series to get a national see. kentucky and florida look locked in and south carolina is approaching. This is a very important weekend coming up. LETS SWEEP GEORGIA!

I think SLU has a decent chance at an at large bid if the finish in the top 2 of the Southland. They have a top 50 RPI right now.

I'm not saying that we can't do it but expecting two sweeps to a Top 25 team (Ole Miss) and a very scary team (UGA) is too high of expectations IMO. Florida, Kentucky, any of the top teams in the country really can't expect that.
We play in the toughest conference in the country. Our goal every series is to win 2 of 3 every weekend and take care of business during the mid-week. We have been doing that up to this point and are on pace to finish right where we need to be.
If we finish out 8-4 with a series victory of SC, I wholeheartedly believe we will lock up that Top 8 seed. UNC, Rice, and UCLA also shitting the bed will help that case even more so.

You do realize both Arkansas and Florida lost 2 of 3 to Ole Miss at home. Ole Miss swept us last time we played them at home. They are a very good team. I hope we take 2 of 3 from them.

Ole Miss was the only series we lost last year. Played them on the road.

I'm saying if they do. They are in our region. It would help out a ton. Them and A&M are ideal pairs with us come Supers if they can faulter and we can get that Top 8.

That he has, but he also has admitted that he has been an avid supporter for their conference every year, but the committee doesn't ever seem to have the same admiration.

Gotcha...they are perfect pairs...both I believe are overrated. Id prefer not to see Baylor.

Playing Baylor would be the ultimate shaft. I don't even want to think about that.
I think UNC is massively overrated. I would also not rather face A&M's starting rotation.

You talking about the same arkansas team we sweep at home and the florida team we one the series against on the road.
Didn't everybody that was decent sweep us last year...
. I hope we take 2 of 3 against ole miss too. Thats the most important series left to me.

The SEC is going to get 3 national seeds. Barring a sweep by KY over UF the series between LSU and USCe will probably determine the 3rd national seed.

Yep that same Florida team who was basically w/o there 2 best pitchers Randall and Whitson.
