I guess the fact that I realize that the future success of the team is dependent on more than the draft makes me a "simpleton," but whatever.

Having said that, I agree with the "win at home, tank on the road" strategy. I'm not arguing that we should win every game, only that the extreme tankards aren't seeing the whole picture.


I see the picture, and I think the Hornets do to. That's why they are playing Gordon at home and resting him on the road. I still would rather not sweat draft position though.

You might not be sweating if you knew you had a handshake deal with the commissioner. "You're one player away". There are so many reasons for Stern to want the Hornets to get the 1st pick. If rigging happens I think the Hornets have it in the bag.
