I have been in one. It cool but you have to find the right club. Some places are laid back and some are all about referring business. You can go to the site and visit some by emailing the president.

I am not part of one but I am familiar through other colleagues.
Some groups take it very seriously and could blackball you if you dont seem 100percent committed. Which is fair.
I know some people that get a lot of business off of it, so it may be good to try it out.
Be prepared if you realize that some personalities don't match. The setting can remind you of high school.

I work in a general business practice with some wills/successions and a few PI cases...I do just about anything but criminal cases, divorce, and residential real estate closings.
