Although the Reds offense has been complete shite so far this year, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable starting him yet.

I think I am to the point of being ok with benching him until he proves to me that he is back. If he pitches well today, then plug him in next time.

Starting pitchers haven't given up more than 1 ER in the last 6 games against the Reds.
If it was tee ball, I'd start the tee against the Reds.
The only time I wouldnt start a SP against the Reds, if for somehow it was a Red's SP going against the Reds.
