In the mid to late 60s, I remember Big Red actually having a silver colored megaphone that might have been 12 to 15 inches long. My dad would want to go in the stadium early, couldn't wait to get in Tiger Stadium, and Big Red would already be in his section. He was the only one in the section and the megaphone was clearly visable when he began chanting. He was seated in the curve on the Northeast side of the stadium. My dad is 84 years old, started going to LSU games in 1949. Big Red was there yelling Tiger Bait then.

That is where I remember him sitting. It was behind the handicap section not far up. He would start up his chant and everybody would look over there.
