pretty good comparison. not quite the speed of jason. both didn't have a outside shot. both could pass/no look with the best of them.

Who was the other cat at LSU with him? These are some of my first LSU hoops memories...he could score, something Henderson?

Seems like they could have been a great duo

Jason Kidd played in the largest classification in California against much better competition than Livingston. Kidd led his school, St. Joseph's of Alameda to consecutive state championships without any teammates who played major college basketball. And as good as Kidd was in high school he was not the best I saw in California. That distinction goes to Bill Cartwright.

Except a better shooter and more athletic! He was in HS around the same time Kerry Kittles played for St. Aug. RL was superior to Kittles.

Yep. He legitimately had that extra quality that you find very, very infrequently.

He understood the game, passing angles, had size, quickness and could handle the ball.

He would have been a PG for a long time in the NBA.
