no. An extensive photoshop project would probably bog that down... I would think you need more than 8GB for sure and an i5 is weak. spend the money and go with an i7 and 16GB of ram at the minimum.

Nah
I have an i5 (granted, it's overclocked) and 8gb RAM and I can run ultra-settings on 64p servers with 60fps. But I have a 7950 GPU

Bad advice if he is looking for a GAMING pc. I5 2500k is perfect for gaming and 8 gbs is plenty. Hell I've never used more than 4gb.
