High School Pitching Duel

I searched, but couldn't find anything. Was there a recent high school baseball game where the two pitchers combined for 18 innings and over 500 pitches? One pitcher is bound for Tulane and the other LSU.

This shite is ridiculous. Both kids have commited to play D1 ball and they think this game was more important. Coaches need to be reprimanded

I want to see an actual scientific study of how many pitches is too many.

The 100 bullshite is exactly that, bullshite. Guys back in the 20s, 30s etc. etc. etc. never had pitch counts and they lasted years and years.

I'm not saying young kids should be throwing that many, but speaking to the subject in general.
