FWIW, I saw them at the varsity last year and the best way to describe it is "fun"

High energy, riffy, good times.

I dont think they are trying to convince anyone the are great songrwriters or musicians.

They are loud as frick and I enjoyed it.

Exactly the way I feel. I like them, I really liked the first album and haven't heard much on this one. I guess I shouldn't be surprised they aren't more popular.

I enjoyed them live which is what got me into their music. Get drunk and go into their show, it is VERY loud with flashing lights and a lot of head banging on stage.

I said in another post that I didn't really mesh into the crowd that well, but if being around hipsters bothers you that much then you were never going to give this band a fair shake anyways.
