I never even hear the guy's name mentioned for openings.
Some people realize their not cut out for being Head Coach. He was a good DB coach and is doing a good job with NC State as DC. I've spoken with him a few times since he's been at State and I don't think he has any interest in being a HC.

I remember he took his firing extremely hard. Could be he doesn't want to risk going thru that whole pressure cooker again.
