he's funny.
He's the Groucho Marx of sports.

I like Kornheiser, his arguments tend to favor the side of the fan.

no
he's fricking horrible and openly lazy
he only knows what is in the DC sports headlines. half the topics on pti have to be about the wizards, skins and Nats just so his old arse can sound halfway informed

On PTI: I thought he was fine
On MNF: Dude was fricking god awful on the broadcast.
I actually enjoyed his Radio Show when it was on ESPN Radio a while back.

Opposite Wilbon he's great...everywhere else not so much. I really just like how he calls Wilbon on every single race card he plays.

was bad on MNF
he is great on PTI with Wilbon, those two just have chemistry
haven't really seen him anywhere else but he comes across to me as an average guy who pays attention to sports, has good opinions and delivers them in a funny.
a lot of the guy on ESPN try to show the viewer how much of an expert they are while Tony just blurts out what he thinks

No. He's a condescending a-hole who enjoys spouting off on topics he knows nothing about.
This is PTI, MNF, etc.

I must be in the minority. I loved him on MNF. and Dennis Miller years before as well...
Too bad the average football fan has the IQ of a cypress knee.
Has absolutely nothing to do with dumb fans. My big problem with him, other than the aforementioned "scriptedness", was that anything both of them added to the broadcast, analyst wise, was stuff I could do. And most of the times, it was idiotic questions. "So John, why wouldn't a corner want to play Randy Moss that closely?" He was a guy sitting on the couch asking typical fan questions the whole game, and it drove me nuts. Just let the guys who know what's going on talk. And whenever they would ask a dumb question like that, you could tell the other guys were taken aback and really wondered if they were being serious. "Well............Tony, because 2+2=4. Yeah."
Love him on PTI, though. It's where he belongs.
