I hate the idea of vitt, just don't like the guy for some reason

i don't hate the guy. I just think it is irresponsible to reward him for being a part of bounty gate. let someone who was not implicated have the distinction of "head coach" for this season. It will improve their resume and help their career. Vitt doesn't deserve that.

I agree with this 100%. Not only will it help the other guys career, but with the "i will hold a hearing to reinstate Payton" thing i dont want to piss Goodell off at all. I have a feeling this might do it. And he was talking about giving us our draft pick back. This lessens the likelihood of that scenario IMO.

Just give the reins to Carmichael for the season.
He looks too nerdy to be involved in the
so called "pay for injury" scheme.

I could just see his squinty little eyes giving all the interviews.

My only problem with that is i dont want him to have to do anything but worry about his duties as OC. I know everyone says the interim HC doesnt do anything, but the fact of the matter is he does. Its not like the interim coach just sits around with no responsibility. I think either Spags or Pete would be a good HC, just want them to focus 100% on their respective sides of the ball rather than HC duties. And i think to put Vitt in that place is irresponsible and another middle finger to the NFL, who we really do not need to piss of anymore. It'll be a lack of continuity cause he is suspended and we are taking aguy who the NFL doesn't like already and putting him in charge of our team. Just my 2 cents.

1. He's the assistant head coach and probably has more time in this system than Spagnuolo and/or Carmichael. Definitely Spags, not sure on Carmichael.

2. I thought about this the other day. Can Vitt and Payton and Loomis have contact with each other? I think this may be an advantage. Vitt can stay in contact through his suspension while Carmichael cannot. IF that's the case, I say it's a good move.

Looks like Carmichael and Spags will share duties until Vitt returns, then Vitt takes over. It's more of a clerical thing IMO. Vitt is probably going to be good at organizing team activities Monday thru Saturday and all the in between. You'll see Carmichael calling plays still.

I do agree with that, but hell Sean Payton was just an offensive coordinator when he came to NOLA also.

Put the boy( pete C.) through a little fire. I bet he could handle it. But generally, i do agree with you.
