man.. the Rangers are fun to watch.
I am a Twins fan at heart, growing up in Louisiana without a team, i fell for the Twins and Kirby Puckett in 87-88.. but i am in desperate need of a team to root for in Dallas.. i hate the Cowboys and Mavs.. maybe i'll jump on this Rangers bandwagon..
my son loves the Rangers, so we watch most of the games anyway.

One of my buddies from Monroe lived in Ft Worth so long his son became a TCU fan. They lived close enough to walk over to the games so they started going. They've since moved to a suburb of Chicago. Maybe he'll stick with purple and be a Northwestern fan.
Take the kid to a Ranger game. It's lots of fun. Get seats on the first base side so you won't be in the sun. Unless you need a tan.
