I don't have anything against Ohio State other than the unapologetic hypocrisy of many of your fans. Urban Meyer (and all other successful SEC coaches for that matter) was the devil to many of your fans when he was at Florida but now all his faults and weaknesses are being excused as getting caught up in the sleeze that is SEC recruiting.

There is not a CFB fanbase in the country that would not do the exact same thing if their team was in the exact same situation.

I'm taking the good with the bad and so are many others.

Its pretty obvious that you have some sort of biased hate for OSU and you cannot understand this.

ETA:

There are hypocritical fans for every team ..LSU OSU BAma Michigan...you name it.

This is true and I can't stand it when I see it in my own fanbase too. It's why I get mad at fellow Bama fans who whine about being disrespected or "classlessness" from opposing fans while at the same time defending the "Rammer Jammer" cheer against criticism. I'm not a fan of the cheer.

I guess I'm sick and tired of the self righteous stance from some Big Ten fans and the naive belief that they are above the perils of big time college football and don't lower themselves to the roster management and recruiting practices of the lowly SEC. There SEEMS to be a very holier than thou vibe from some Big Ten fans and administrators where they hide behind academic and moral arguments for downplaying why the SEC has been dominant over the Big Ten and other conferences. It's incredibly arrogant and disingenous.

One guy with one website CLEARLY speaks for an entire fanbase.

As for Meyer's reaction:

Lost control of my program and won 2 national championships. Just imagine what could happen if I got my act together. #possibilities

This article ran on AOL Sporting News? Who has the time to dig that far into the nether regions of the internet?

Obviously not real

I mean TBH, Big Ten fans and "administrators" have always said this stuff..it just sticks out more when you are not the best anymore.

That article was a whole mess of nothing. He favors star players? He gave a guy with a knee injury a medical hardship? He recruits hard? OH NOZ!! The sky is falling!!!

I'm sure Ohio State fans will have some sort of excuse about how Big Ten schools and especially Ohio State "does things the right way" and wouldn't dare let anything like that happen on their watch.

The Big 10 doesn't have much room to talk. They've been doing a great job keeping watch between the free tattoos and child rape coverups.

Oklahoma under Switzer, Miami under Johnson, Nebraska under Osborne were all teetering out of control in their final years.

But fans overlooked the issues, because all they care about is the 'W' for the win; doesn't matter if they recruited illegally, or had freaking crimminals or rapist on the field...

So you're lumping the entire Big Ten in with that demented pervert from Penn State?

Way to keep up the stereotype of the typical Alabama fan there skippy.

that article was nothing groundbreaking. Wow, coaches favor star players and let them get away with stuff! As if that doesn't happen pretty much everywhere. UF was just loaded with stars during that period.
