i dont think itll be soon. the nflpa has come out and said they havent received any real evidence from the nfl yet.
the nfl is making it appear like they are working in conjunction with the nflpa but really trying to be the iron fist its become.

Does anyone think lessening the player suspensions could hurt us? For example, having Vilma suspended for a year would save a whole lot of cap room for us to help sign Brees. Same for Smith too. I'd like to have these players back obviously...but an interesting thought.

vilma- many thought we could cut him anyway. we also signed lofton and hawthorne. so he really wouldnt be the biggest loss at this point.
smith- this is a different story. we still dont have pass rushers and hes the best we got. our line would take a big hit if we lost him for the year. theres no one else there to take over.

I seriously doubt anyone besides vilma gets more than 8 games.
