That first one seems like a good choice. Light draw weight and fair price. Don't get one of the 50lb+ hunting recurve setups. They are very difficult to shoot if you're just starting out.

I like that first one. Make sure you take the string off when you're done shooting for the day.

I was looking at the Recurves, although I believe I need a Compound to hunt effectively and I came across this Tuning and Setup information about Recurves and Here it is: Recurve Setup
The link is pretty detailed and I learned a good bit about setting up a recurve and tuning it.

Killing a deer with a recurve has to be the ultimate deer hunt experience. You have to be pretty good to kill one with the most decked out thing on the market, much less do it with medieval equipment.
