LOTR Trilogy
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Departed
No Country for Old Men
The Big Lebowski
The Dark Knight
Inception
Memento
Pixar Movies in General (Greatest year for animation probably)
Adaptation
Children of Men
Inglorious Basterds
Kill Bill
Snatch
Lost in Translation
The Hangover
Zombieland
Shaun of the Dead
Zodiac
Minority Report

just to name a few movies that i think the general audience enjoys, at least on this board

While they are indeed great, the 2000s certainly aren't the best for animation, especially due to the basic death of 2-D animation on the big screen. The 90s was the greatest time for animation in general.
