UNT fans are praying they keep him their program was absolute trash before he got there though.

This.

His ties to Dale and LSU are the only reason he's even being considered, and that just ain't enough IMHO.

And again, if you're going to settle for this level of coach, Kermit's a better coach, and a comparable recruiter who has LSU ties as well and probably wants the job pretty badly too.

But I think Kermit would be settling too.

A young, enthusiastic and energetic assistantt from a name basketball school would be preferable to me.

north texas had 3 20 wins season in the program's history before johnny jones got there. now they have 5 20 win seasons in the past 6 years.
