Where is a bandwagon? Is it too late to jump on the Texas one?

He hit over .300 for a month once in the last two years. 2009 Tex would be awesome.

He says he worked on things this winter so we shall see if that is just talk. Last year he was rather mediocre

You're right. Yankees don't have the biggest bandwagon fanbase in America. What the hell was I thinking?

Oh wait, did you think I was calling into question your fan hood? I'm sure you're a legit Yankee fan. LA doesn't have pro baseball, NY is the next closest team, I'm sure your grandparents were probably Yankee fans right.....you've probably been a Yank since day 1 when you were little

Probably been one longer than you've been alive, probably even been to more games in old Yankee stafium than you've been to Rays. But oh we'll Red Sox have largest bandwagon fan base

Red Sox have the biggest bandwagon fan base, as of now. It is dying down a little because they haven't been that great in the last two or three years.

I was only giving you a hard time....you obviously feel compelled to prove your allegiance, hmmmmmm

And no way is Sawx Nation half the bandwagon of the Yankees.

It's because a lot of Yankees fans aren't bandwagon fans.

They may have started cheering because they were good, but they didn't ever stop, which contradicts the bandwagon argument.

There were a trillion people who started liking the Red Sox when they won in 2004, and then again in 2007.

Those fans are dwindling at a decent pace. That's the definition of a bandwagon fan.

I'm sure they'll be back when the Sox win again, though.

i hate to admit this cause i am a die hard yankee fan but we are definitely the leader in banwagon fans. obviously we had a fantastic 70s, but once the 80s rolled around you couldnt give tickets away. we have a solid fan base cause we are always in the playoff hunt and that will keep most people on the banwagon around, but give us 3 or 4 sub .500 years and watch "the evil empire" crumble.

Boston fans are going away even though they are still a playoff team most years.

that's a good point. i do love listening to them say "you just dont understand those 86 years of losing and the pain. when you become a fan of the red sox youll understand." and then when i ask when they became a sox fan the answer is always like 2003 or mid-2004 cause they wanted to see the curse end and they were getting "so close." i will never respect that kind of fan.
