So Bammer boosters never gave "incentives" to Tide players during his tenure? You are spot on with Sam Gilbert, it was dirty as hell, but so were the Bear's Tide teams. Otherwise, I'll take what is bullshite for $1000, Alex.

It's a lot easier to build dominant teams by paying players in basketball than it is in football. See Calipari.

It' not really the same. I'm not saying Bryant was completely clean, but it's not nearly as bad as the situation with Gilbert, in my opinion.

Look at Wooden's record before and after Gilbert got involved with the program. He went from being an occasional tourney participant to absolutely unbeatable.
