In terms of overall accomplishments, it's Wooden, easily. However, I can't turn a blind eye to the whole Sam Gilbert situation, so I'll say that Bryant is the best coach in college sports history.

So Bammer boosters never gave "incentives" to Tide players during his tenure? You are spot on with Sam Gilbert, it was dirty as hell, but so were the Bear's Tide teams. Otherwise, I'll take what is bullshite for $1000, Alex.

Rockne and it ain't even close. Rockne took college football from a dirt road to a six-lane interstate highway. Bryant drove on the interstate that that Rockne built.
