Odell's athleticism will overcome any size difference IMO....most likely Jarvis also.

Jarvis Landry is not our tallest receiver.

Doesn't matter. Redzone will be dominated by the stable of RBs.

Josh Reed was 5'10". I seem to remember him being pretty good.
Lance Moore is 5'9".

When was the last time we didn't have a receiver taller than 6'2"?
This guy says you have nothing to worry about.

When will they be on the team? Like I said, I was going off the info on the program handed out today.

I'm going off the program that was passed out today at the game. Our tallest WR is Landry.
I believe Landry is listed at 6-0 even. Williams goes 6-3 or 6-4 and Wright goes 6-2, I believe.
As to the question about lack of height in WRs being a concern, I think the concern is blown out of proportion. Yes, it's nice to have a good tall receiver when you want to throw one up for grabs in the red zone, but what's more important overall is that you have receivers who can run good routes, get separation and catch the ball and a QB who can read defenses, anticipate the receiver coming out of his break and deliver the ball in the right spot.

Posted on 3/31/12 at 7:43 pm to tonydatigah
Dwayne Bowe was only 6'2 FWIW.

Dural's listed as 6'2".

In '07, DByrd was the tallest at 6'2.
I don't remember needing a tall WR much in '07 but for the record LaFell was listed at 6-3 and Toliber at 6-5.

I saw Massington today and he's not 6'4". Maybe 6'2", but definitely not 6'4". Unless that wasn't him with his name tag and red jacket/shoes.

Yep and he's won some LA state high jumps in HS track.

We looked through the program several times, wasn't just me looking at it. Our whole group was wondering why our tallest receiver was listed at 6'2"
