My oldest is a southie. I talked to my cop buddy today and asked him if he had his choice between a gen 3 or 4 what would he get and he said a 4 hands down. He's been a range instructor for yrs FWIW

Have the Gen4 34, no issues so far. Bought it this February. Enjoyable gun to shoot.
