As did I, I'm still going to see this one even though I tend to always agree with RT.

46% for a popcorn movie isn't bad. Nowhere near as bad as the sub 10% you see for other films.

Yeah, I don't think they had their sights set on an Oscar.

I, for one, await TulaneLSU's review of this motion picture.

I normally take the critics' opinions with a grain of salt.

A 73% from the users isn't terrible.

i thought it was pretty boring, terrible 3D, terrible dialogue(too much of it as well) Raph Fienes voice was absolutely ridiculous and annoying.

I really hated it

A lot of the negative reviews have positive parts to them. Like...

"a marked upgrade in quality."

"That said, while it's happening, the sensationalism is, well, pretty sensational"

"At least this one manages to make the 3-D ride worth the destination."

"Enjoyable sequel that improves considerably on the original film"

And those were the "rotten" reviews. I'll still see it.

They totally ruined Calibos' character...Turned him into a thug. As far as the sequel, I'd rather see Gemma Arterton than Rosamund Pike.

I never saw the first and don't plan on watching it. But based just of trailers, this one looks much better. I really don't know why I'm responding to this because I'm not going to see the new one either

Why does the star have a jewfro in this pic when he had a buzz cut in the last. It looks odd. And the movie looks terrible.

Agreed. I kind of enjoyed the first one, but I had to Google her after watching it. She is super sexy to me.

too low. it'll be a solid 7, imo. greek mythology in relation to the Bible will spark great discourse from our favorite critic

It's a popcorn flick. I will see it just for entertainment. I love greek mythology so it'll be cool to see the titans in cgi

This, big time. I remember the first trailer I saw for the new one and thinking "Really?? They made a new one?"

I will say that the last one being "3D" (in quotes because it really wasn't) turned me off big time on it and made me not like it.

ETA: The main thing that was good with the first one was that the little mechanical owl (from the original) was in it.

ETA2: Actually, I'll come off the "god awful," but I was pretty disappointed in it. It was okay for an almost exact replica of the first one, but the whole bullshite 3D thing (when they went back after it was finished and tried to "3D it") and all the scenes with the gods turned me off.

Expect it to continue to fall.

They all do once it officially releases, which isn't until this weekend.

It's up to 53% now. It's not going to be a classic but I don't think it'll fall as low as I thought it would.
