Just a solid 0/4 to start the year.

I hope the guy gets some chances at catcher sooner rather than later. Don't think having Ryan Doumit at catcher for an extended period of time is going to work out.

My guess is at least once a week. So he should be catcher eligible in Yahoo leagues in a little over a month.

How many games at a position do you need to become eligible?

If I remember correctly, it is 5 starts or 10 appearances at a position.

Yeah I don't hate him. I took him over a few other guys. But I would rather have the option of hitting him at the utility spot rather than at C everyday. Hopefully he can put up some decent numbers. Even with all the uncertainty over what position he will be playing each day, he should get more at bats than he has in his career, but will be doing it at Target Field. We will see.

Yeah, I really need Mauer to get 1B eligibility in ESPN. Pisses me off he's not eligible there. I fricked up my draft in another league, and now my lineup will essentially be down a man until Joe gets CI eligibility...

Not bad at all.

From the hitting side, I'm a fan of Goldschmidt this year and think he can do some good things. Avila is great to have in this format with his ability to take walks. I like how you paired Freese up with Moustakas, should work out well.

It's a pretty balanced offense with some guys who have a little power and a couple guys with some speed. Can there be improvements? Sure, but you will at least be competitive in all 5 categories. Moves can be made during the season to help push you forward.

As for the pitching, I've never played in a league where holds are scored but Clipped and O'Flaherty will be nice to have. If the Reds ever change their mind and move Chapman to the end of games, Marshall will be valuable there as well. Him and the other two guys will give you a great relieving group. I like the 5 deep pitching staff. Big fan of Marcum and think he has a good year. I had him last year and he was very solid pretty much all year until towards the end. I think this pitching group together should be one of the best in the league, if I had to guess.

Good team. 7/10 with the ability for more with some tweaks to the offense.

ETA: Just from my time in 12 man leagues, around 215-220 HR, 800 runs and rbi's, 120-130 sb's, and about a .275-.280 avg will have you in the top 3 of each of those categories.

Didn't spend a whole lot of time with it, but from just running some quick numbers the starting lineup should put up around 190 HR, 700ish runs, 720ish rbi's, 105ish sb's, and a .280 average. That is just your starting lineup right now. Doesn't include the production you will get from your bench players when they are in the lineup.

Solid team, IMO.

Very!

Hit on a rope too. He looks like Bo Jackson (build wise).
