Landon Collins always gave hints that he was going to Bama well before his announcement, which was pre-signing day by the way. I would log on here every week and hear about him wearing Bama clothes to school all the time. What about the 7-on-7 tournament where he took the picture with the other top recruits for Nike, wearing a Bama visor and pointing to the script A? Or the picture of him and his GF decked out in Bama gear that he had as his twitter profile picture for months leading up to his announcement? He was trying to tell you without actually telling you that he was going to Bama. I'm pretty sure he knew there would be backlash from fans no matter when he announced. He had planned to make that announcement on ESPN ever since they offered him the chance, which was like a year before. That's a big stage and I would hold off publicly too if I was able to have an announcement like that. My point is, I don't think he strung you along, at least not as much as any other recruit that doesn't choose LSU when they're in his top two. He showed his true colors several times, in several different ways. But some of you were color blind and had the purple-n-gold glasses on the whole time. The funny thing is, we probably feel the same way about Nkemdiche, with our crimson colored glasses. Ain't nothing wrong with that. But if he commits to LSU, am I gonna be pissed at him for 'stringing us along'? Hell naw, I'm gonna be pissed that we just missed on a top prospect, that we was a long-time leader for, to a divisional rival. Am I gonna hate him? No, I will just laugh when Cyrus Kouandjio puts him on his arse.
