Thinking about picking him up with the last pick of my draft. He was good last year as a reliever, but as a starter in the minors he could never put it all together. Do you think his spring stats are a fluke, or is he finally starting to show his talent?

His xFIP and BABIP indicated he was a lucky SOB last year. I'd just wait and see how he does, I doubt he gets drafted except in a league with a bunch of domers and cubtards.

There are about 15 other setup men I'd take before him

Oh ok, there are about 5 other RP turned starter I'd take before him (although none will probably be around in the last round)

There are about 20 other people I'm taking flyers on at that point tho.

.500 pitcher with an ERA in the mid 4s... and that's if he's having a good year as a starter. But hey, you never know.

Yeah. Ended up using my flyer pick on Bedard. I know he is going to get injured, but at the times he is healthy, he should put up respectable numbers in the NL.

I took a shot at him. After a couple of starts we'll see if he gets the ax or not.

I should have taken him over anyone on Boston's pitching staff not named Lester...

I ended up grabbing him last week as soon as I could place Crawford on the DL. I have him, Burnett, and Bedard, and I am just hoping to hit atleast one of them have an above average year.
