The pack has everything you'd want.

Not sure about that brand though. If it will only get used sparingly it'll work. However, if it was going to get used quite a bit I said stay away and invest a little more and never have to worry about replacing it for years to come.


Eta....if only looking for a small pack check out REI's Outlet online and see what you can find that'll be close in price but more than likely better quality. REI makes a pretty good pack. Plus, you won't have an issue with customer service if there's a problem.

Eta2.....I found an REI 30 traverse pack for just a few dollars more. Having trouble linking it. Go to REI outlet, search backpacks. It's on page 1, baby blue pack. My ex girlfriend has the same one I bought for her.

I need to post some of my pics from the Olympic Peninsula from 2 weeks ago. We did not do any major hikes, just a couple of day hikes, but I still got some awesome pics.

My wife has already asked me to look into transferring to our Seattle office. We're thinking about it. That whole entire is just ridiculously gorgeous.

We plan on going back next summer and doing a proper backcountry trip.
