Does AD know that Johnson has no support from the fans?

Wouldn't LSU want to sell basketball tix??
It seems to me LSU would want to make as much money as possible so why not make a splash with a new coach??

I know... Another "fire Trent" thread but it's the off season

You're right, the AD is worried about what the fans think..!! Hell why even have an AD, Lets just let the fans vote on it..!

The team improved dramatically this year and is poised to improve again next year.

Yeah, I think the team is moving in the right direction. I think hickey has the passion to be a leader. I dont think firing Trent is a good idea at this point.

It is so refreshing to see so many fans that support Johnson are happy with a team whose expectations are so low. What happens if LSU in 2013 has one more win than 2012 and the team is invited to the NIT, will we still be headed in the right direction?

The AD, and everyone else, knows that LSU fans do not support basketball...

Just go ahead and tell us who should be the next coach.

I have criticized TJ for 2 years but as of right now it is not a good idea to let him go, his team is shaping up and all signs point up for next season.

I support TJ

They're the same bunch that supported and defended Archer, Hallman, DiNardo, Dale at the end and Brady. That's what the mediocrity accepting "Defenders of the Faith" do.

They're all Enemies of the State IMO.

Did you actually watch any of the games this year? The offense was beyond putrid. Inbounding the ball was a frigging adventure half the time. I get the feeling if we win a NIT game next year some of yall will be acting like we won the BCS Championship/NCAA Tournament/College World Series all rolled into one.

Excuses every year, 2 years ago Malcolm White was going to be the savior, last year it was Johnny O' Bryant, now Malik Morgan. Good teams win games, losers have excuses.

fwiw, O'Bryant is a hell of a player and I think Malik will be too.

Agreed, but at some point the rubber needs to hit the road and wins need to come. I'm sick of the BS excuses, for the most part Trents recruiting has been pathetic. Look at all the local talent doing well for teams in the tournament, yet that buffoon signs Darenbecker and Ludwig.

eh, darenbecker was supposed to be the best player in the state and ludwig's signing was to get him. didn't really work out at all. We'll see how this class turns out. On paper he hasn't recruited all that bad but frick, only O'Bryant, Hamilton, and Hickey have met or exceeded expectations.
