They want out from Scola's long-term deal for one.
On many of the others, they've already rescinded their options / qualifying offers on them to create cap space for next year and are hoping to get something for them.

Man I wish we could have traded away an all-star PG for a disgruntled chump, a bad contract, and a streaky scorer. David Stern is trying to kill the Hornets.
