CE:
Starting Lineup-33.15 (5th)
-I like what this team has done with his offense. Decent power from Miggy, Bruce, Morse, A-Rod. Ellsbury can provide steals, though he made need some additional help there (some of his bench players have SB capability).
Pitching Staff-21.99 (10th)
-frick James Shields. Now that we've got that out of the way, Verlander is obviously the stud of the staff. After that, there are questions. Can Morrow take that next step? Can Niese take that next step? I like Luebke a good bit, but will he produce as much as he did last year? Saves are non existent. He'll need to be a waiver hawk to fix this part of his team, imo.
Bench-3.09 (6th)
-I actually like some of these players (Gamel, Pagan, Crisp). He'll need to use Pagan and Crisp from time to time in his lineup if he wants to win steals. I have no idea what Mike Aviles is doing on this team. He needs to go. I don't care how many positions he is eligible for or what offense he plays in. There has to be better options out there.
Overall-58.23 (9th)
-CE comes in at 9th overall, but he's less than one full rating point away from being 6th. In other words, he has the potential to make the playoffs, but he will need to be active and not sit on guys too long if they are struggling. Punting a category (saves) is gonna hurt, too.

yea don't see the point in punting a category unless you use those picks to significantly strengthen your team in other areas. Don't think he accomplished that last night.

Starting Lineup: 29.83 (10th)
-LOTS of question marks on this lineup, mainly injury concerns. Crawford is out, Rollins is always banged up, and Wright is questionable. I like some of the young players like Jennings and Ike Davis. Also looks like it lacks power overall. Do work, son.
Pitching Staff: 20.12 (12th)
-Ugh. Where do I begin? Good news is I like Gallardo. The bad news is that Volquez is a huge question mark, Hanson's arm could fall off any minute, and Trevor Cahill will automatically give you a loss in k/9 every week. You've got saves on this team, but it's not enough to overcome the problems you will have in the other pitching categories.
Bench: 3.11 (4th)
-A few capable guys here to choose from, although there are no pitchers (not that it really matters). Cozart will be serviceable if/when Rollins goes down, Lind can be plugged in at any time and produce. I'd like to see Valencia get on base a little more, but he could have a bounceback year.
Overall: 53.07 (11th)
-I'm having a hard time figuring out what direction this team is going. It's not strong enough to compete, but it also lacks the young potential studs to build around. I recommend a massive overhaul before the trade deadline, and pick up some young keeper prospects and begin the rebuilding era.
